Overflow
You don't strain to produce love. You drink, and rivers flow.
Rivers of Living Water
The source is in you, not before you.
“Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within them.”
John 7:38
The Christian life isn't a faucet you turn harder. It's a spring fed from beneath. You aren't the source. You are the channel.
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. The water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:14
The Fruit
What you are becoming, He is growing.
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22–23
Notice the singular: fruit,not fruits. One harvest with nine flavors. You don't pick which to grow. The Vine grows all of it through you.
The Sending
Sent as cherished.
“As the Father has sent Me, even so I am sending you.”
John 20:21
You go out the way Jesus came in: as the Father's beloved. Not to earn it. To bring it.
